Tax-Time Brain? The 10-Minute Night Routine to Switch Off

EOFY can leave your brain buzzing after hours. Here’s a simple 10-minute routine to help you step out of work mode.

Tax-Time Brain? The 10-Minute Night Routine to Switch Off

EOFY brain is real. You close the laptop, but your head keeps running: receipts, invoices, admin, tax, lists, reminders, things you forgot to do.

That mental buzz can make it harder to sleep, which makes recovery worse, which makes tomorrow feel heavier than it needs to.

This is a simple 10-minute routine to help you step out of work mode.

EOFY ends 30 June: 15% off storewide is automatically applied at checkout. No code needed.

In short

If your brain is still “working” at night, give it a closing routine. Write down the loose ends, add warmth, reduce stimulation, and use the same bedtime cue. The goal is not a perfect night routine — it’s a reliable off-ramp.

The 10-minute EOFY switch-off

Minute 0–2: close the loop

  • write down tomorrow’s top 3 tasks
  • write down anything you’re worried you’ll forget
  • close the laptop properly

Minute 2–7: add warmth

Minute 7–10: bedtime cue

The common mistake

Finishing admin… then rewarding yourself with another hour of bright screens. If your body is already wired, keep the last hour quieter.

Bottom line

EOFY can be mentally noisy. Give your brain a closing routine, then give your body the same cue every night.
